At DOT Cares Foundation, our mission is rooted in a deep commitment to fostering empowerment and opportunity for individuals across diverse backgrounds. We are dedicated to championing the resilience of women who have triumphed over immense challenges such as domestic violence, homelessness, and financial hardship. Through personalized programs, comprehensive mentorship, and tailored support services, we strive to equip these remarkable individuals with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to rebuild their lives and contribute meaningfully to their businesses and education.

 

About us

DOT CARES Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 2018 for women empowerment and youth empowerment through education. We also serve as a lighthouse for women who have overcome domestic violence and homelessness. We provide resources for scholarships to further education and career training. For the youth, we provide empowerment workshops and summer educational camps. Under S.M.’s visionary leadership, DOT CARES Foundation has flourished into a beacon of hope and resilience, touching the lives of countless individuals through its transformative programs and initiatives. Her journey serves as a testament to the power of one individual’s vision to ignite a ripple effect of positive transformation, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and hope for generations to come.

Meet our founder

Mrs. Sewell is a multifaceted entrepreneur, philanthropist, community leader, and author known for her dedication to making a positive impact in the world. As the founder and CEO of DOT CARES Foundation, S.M. has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at fostering empowerment, education, and social change within communities. Drawing inspiration from her own experiences and challenges, as well as the resilience of her late mother, Dorothy (Dot), and her mother-in-law, Diane, S.M. founded the DOT CARES Foundation in November of 2018. Their unwavering commitment to compassion and generosity instilled in S.M. a deep sense of empathy and a desire to uplift those in need.
